We are here to help prepare children for what comes next ..... big kid school!!!Preschool is about building brain power, social skills, fine motor skills, learning to be creative, building self-confidence and learning how to use their emotions and how to express themselves their way.
Here at First Lutheran we have been providing quality education in a Christ-centered environment for the Havre community for over 50 years! It is our mission to give your child a setting where they can learn, grow, and develop physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Through our programs, we seek to help your child to develop a healthy personality, form good values, and assist them in exploring the feelings and attitudes they will need to create a firm foundation for positive self-image and quality relationships within the family and community. All of this is done in a Christian environment .

First Lutheran Preschool offers classes for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Our program utilizes the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum along with Handwriting Without Tears curriculum, which focuses on active teaching of handwriting skills. Research has shown that writing by hand improves creative writing skills, as well as assists in development of fine motor skills.
