First Lutheran has many options for you to participate in the music program. Check out the following:
BELL CHOIR (High School through Adult) rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Learn note reading, rhythm and ensemble playing skills. Provide anthems and hymn accompaniments for Sunday Services. Directed by Sue Ost.

- Three octaves of Malmark handbells were purchased in 1979 and with the steady growth of the bell choir and the use of bells in worship, a fourth octave was added in 1998. The purchase of choirchimes in 2000 allowed younger players to participate in an ensemble bell ringing experience.
VOCAL CHOIR (High School through Adult) rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Learn vocal skills in sight-singing, tonal, production and blend. Provide anthems and support congregational singing for services. Directed by Mary Stevens.
JOYFUL JAMMERS (High School through Adult) rehearse on Sundays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
- Joyful Jammers is an instrumental group comprised of whatever instruments show up (with their players, of course!) Clarinets, saxophones, flutes, brass, guitars, drums, piano, keyboard, bass, strings, and percussion are all utilized to the best of our ability. The group provides musical support for worship services by playing liturgies, hymns, preludes, postludes, or anthems. Anyone with moderate skills on their instrument is welcome.
FAITHFUL FLUTES (High School through Adult) rehearse on Sundays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
- Flute choir for flutists with moderate to advanced skills. Plays mostly flute music, but dabbles in recorder music as well.
